Condo sales are up across the state of Connecticut, in both volume and price, when comparing January 2014 to January 2015, according to the Connecticut Association of Realtors. The Association reports that the number of condos and townhomes sold increased by 5.4 percent, while the median sales price rose to $156,780 from $150,000, an increase of 4.5 percent.

Nationally, home sales are up, according to the National Association of Realtors, which reported Tuesday that the volume of home sales, which includes single-family and condo/townhouse figures, increased by 3.2 percent when compared to January 2014. The national median home sale price last month was $199,600, according to the Association.

In Greenwich, the local association of Realtors reported last week that the median price for a single-family home sold in January 2015 was recorded at $1.6 million, down significantly from January 2014’s figure of $2.3 million.
