SCORE Fairfield County and Co-Sponsor the Greenwich Library will present a free SCORE Legal Series: What You Need To Know Workshop, “Business Law 101 – Managing Legal Liability Risks” on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Check-in begins at 5:30.
The program will be held at the Greenwich Library, 101 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.
Business lawyer Gary Hirsch will speak at the workshop. Hirsch specializes in advising high-growth, privately-held companies on matters ranging from contracts, partnerships and IP, to venture funding, corporate governance and acquisitions. He has practiced law for more than 20 years, including tenures with a major firm in New York, a Fortune 500 law department, and two successful technology companies, where he ran the legal functions and led his last company through an IPO. Hirsch started his own firm three years ago, dedicated exclusively to providing outside general counsel services to private companies, including start-ups in New York and Connecticut. He also serves as a SCORE counselor to numerous local businesses.
